"Wow! Fabulous hotel, very luxuriously designed and speciously laid out. Fabulous tasty fresh food, with great international variety and some dishes cooked in front of you. We honestly couldn’t fault the food and every meal was a delight. (If you only like burgers it won’t be for you). We found all the staff extremely pleasant, and very helpful. The whole place was absolutely spotless clean. Our personal favourites were Said who waited on us brilliantly in the evenings and Rachid who took great care of us at lunch and breakfast. They worked so hard to make everyone seem special. Our room maid Miriam even decorated our room in celebration of one guests birthday! Abdul on the front desk with his brilliant English, we found to be very informative. All the staff we found to be pleasant, smiley and helpful.
Although the hotel was apparently full to capacity it is so beautifully laid out that there is so much space everywhere, It never appears crowded, nor runs out of chairs or sun beds. We loved the music around all the pools too.
In short, it was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and as 4 female friends who have had 100s of holidays between us we all agreed we will return. We couldn’t find any faults. Absolutely loved it!More"
"Fabulous stay at Pickalbatross"
"Fantastic holiday at Pickalbatross. I can't praise this hotel enough. All accommodation was beautiful. We had a swimup pool which was gorgeous. Our room was kept beautifully clean by Miriam who even decorated my room with petals for my birthday and made it extra special. She made shapes and patterns with towels etc when she cleaned our room daily. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us. They were always so helpful and polite . Special mention needs to be made to our morning and lunch time waiter, Rashid, who made our breakfast and lunch time a lovely relaxing time and also to Siad for always finding us a table outside for evening meal and for ensuring we always had what we needed. Rashid and Said we're always very attentive. Abdul who organises tours also shared very useful information and was always available to answer any questions. We also took tours which were great and very well organised and the shuttle bus is always on hand to take you anywhere. The food was absolutely fabulous. There was so much delicious choice and was always hot. Many items cooked to order. The complex is beautifully kept. Huge, clean swimming pools, well kept gardens and lots of sunbathing space and sunbeds. Also a very quick walk to the beach. Overall, a truly wonderful holiday."
